Cosa legge questa versione — 'And Cain said to Abel his brother' — then the sentence breaks off; the Masoretic names a speech but gives no words
L'ebraico fa 'dire' a Caino qualcosa ad Abele, poi salta dritto al campo e all'omicidio — la battuta manca, lasciando una lacuna grammaticale ('disse', senza nulla di detto). Ogni altro testimone principale riporta la frase 'Andiamo nei campi'. Una frase perduta dal masoretico, o aggiunta da tutti gli altri — qui i manoscritti si separano.
