What the source reads — three separate verses — 16, 17, 18
What this version reads — one combined verse, printed “16. 17. 18.”
Martini merges the three-line tricolon into a single verse, in both his Latin and Italian columns — verified against the 1781 edition (CAPO XXIX). A versification choice of his edition, not an error; noted here so the reader isn't left wondering where verses 17 and 18 went. (One of this project's own findings.)
