What this version reads — And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
The Ethiopian eunuch's confession of faith is absent from the earliest Greek — likely an old baptismal formula added to the text. Present in the Latin tradition and the KJV.
