Detected: Psalm 145 is an alphabetic acrostic — one verse per Hebrew letter, alef to tav. The Masoretic text has 21 verses, not 22: the נ (nun) line is skipped. A structural gap, unmistakable.
Triangulated: The Peshitta preserves the line embedded in v13 (14 words vs the Masoretic’s 6); the Septuagint (Ps 144:13) is likewise expanded; 11QPsaᵃ (Dead Sea Scrolls) carries it as a separate line. Three independent witnesses.
Reconstructed: It opens with נ — exactly the missing acrostic letter — and mirrors its structural twin, verse 17. Recovered from the witnesses, never invented.
Validated by the number: Gematria of the nun line = 1007 (LXX / Peshitta) / 1073 (11QPsaᵃ) against its twin v17 = 1088 — inside the psalm’s own verse-to-verse spread. The reconstruction fits.
