John 5:4 — a Verse the Oldest Greek Leaves Out

The verse, as the witnesses that keep it read: “For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.”

All below share the same shape: preserved in the Aramaic Peshitta and the Byzantine / TR / KJV; absent in the critical Greek (SBLGNT); status witness-attested, disputed; Aramaic verse-text pending. This method re-discovered the entire known omissions list from scratch — Acts 8:37, the Markan refrains, and the rest.
