What the source reads — the נ (nun) line — preserved in the Septuagint, the Peshitta and the Dead Sea Psalms scroll (11QPsaᵃ)
What this version reads — omitted — the Masoretic acrostic skips from מ (mem) to ס (samekh): 21 lines, not 22
Psalm 145 is an alphabetic acrostic, one verse per Hebrew letter. The Masoretic text is missing exactly one letter's line — the clearest structural gap in the Hebrew Bible. Three ancient witnesses preserve it. (This project reconstructed the missing line — see Findings.)
